Rosie the Riveter – International Women’s Day

We’re hosting a relaxed painting session for International Women’s Day in Wigan Museum, which is such a lovely space to slow down and create in.

The session is inspired by the iconic Rosie the Riveter image. You’ll paint your own version, with a template provided if you want one, or you’re welcome to do your own thing. I’ll be around to help if needed, but it’s not a step-by-step class.

This session has been subsidised through our community fundraising because we wanted to give something back to local women. Because of that, it’s just £6 to attend.

No pressure to be “arty”. Come on your own or with others, take a bit of time out, and enjoy being creative in a relaxed space.

Hot drinks are provided free during the session ☕
